A New Year?

Perspective. Thinking back on 2020 and I initially thought thank goodness it’s almost over! It’s been such a hard year for so many. What really will change? Covid is still here, poverty is still here, people are fighting for equality still, and sadness is all around.

My thoughts? It starts with perspective. A different perspective individually. Changing how we think, how we act and how we treat others. Be aware and present in moments of difficultty.

Next year will have its challenges as did this year and the years before. Next year will have its challenges as will the following year and those following it. Take time to find joy in where you are at and make changes for growth to move towards where you want to be.

There is a lot that we have no control over, but also a lot that we do have control over. Introspectively look at what you can control and grow from there. In a world where we are able to make choices, choose the choice that works for you.

May the upcoming year be better and different in ways of growth and progress forward. Happy New Year.
